Experience

Huong Hoang Thi Thu has over 20 years of academic and research experience in environmental sciences, pollution control, and climate change. Her research interests focus on environmental chemistry, ecotoxicology, decentralized wastewater treatment, and applying artificial intelligence and data-driven approaches to ecological modeling and water resources management. As a prolific researcher, she has published dozens of scientific papers in prestigious international peer-reviewed journals (including high-impact Q1 journals such as Science of the Total Environment and Environmental Pollution) and domestic publications. She has served as the Principal Investigator (PI) for multiple major research projects funded by NAFOSTED, USAID, and the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET). Within the 3PUKSEA network, she drives multidisciplinary collaboration, leveraging her expertise to assess environmental impact pathways, lifecycle sustainability indicators, and circular economy practices in regional agri-food value chains.
