Dr. Pham Ngoc Hung is an expert in food engineering and biotechnology with over 10 years of academic and leadership experience. As Head of the Administrative Office at the School of Chemistry and Life Sciences (SCLS), HUST, he plays a key role in strategic management and institutional digital transformation.

His research primarily focuses on food processing equipment, advanced drying technologies, and dynamic process simulation. He is widely recognized for integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analytics into food technology to optimize processing efficiency and enhance research outcomes.

Dr. Hung coordinates numerous high-level research projects, including national programs on agricultural by-product valorization and functional foods. Furthermore, he actively engages in international, multi-disciplinary networks, such as the 3PUKSEA project.

Education

He holds a PhD in Food Chemistry and Biotechnology from BOKU University (Austria, 2015), a Master’s in Industrial Management (Daegu University, South Korea), and an Engineering degree in Automatic Control (HUST).
